About Charper
Introducing the handsome Charper. Charper is a German Short Haired Pointer born 23rd October 2020.
Charper has been surrendered to the facility as his previous owners had some personal issues & unfortunately Charper wasn't coping with his new home in an apartment. Charper is quite a large Pointer & he was previously used as a stud breeder.
Charper tested well with other dogs, both male & female, however he has quite a high prey drive and cannot be rehomed with cats or pocket pets.
If you have another dog at home we will need you to bring them to the facility for a meet & greet to ensure they get along before going home.
As Charper is so large he is a very strong boy & will need strong, capable owners.
Charper has shown no signs of food aggression towards humans or separation anxiety when left alone.
Charper is such a loving young man who wants nothing more than a home he can call his own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Charper, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Charper’s adoption fee is $600, and this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. Charper is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Charper is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
