Ollie

Ollie is a 2.5 year old gorgeous chocolate Lab. Having come into care 3 months ago extremely unwell, he is now a different dog with both his health and his personality.

Ollie as with all labs loves food, and loves being with people quickly bonding with his foster family. Having not had a lot of training and exposure to different environments as a puppy, Ollie has responded well to basic training of sit, wait etc and for the most part walks well on a lead and loves going out with his foster family on new adventures. Some further lead training would be needed as he does pull particularly if he gets a bit anxious with other dogs barking or motor bikes going past.

Ollie has been living indoor/outdoor with his foster family and is fine being outside on his own for periods of time. Due to past experiences of being unattended for long periods, he prefers to be around people as much as possible. After a good walk in the morning, happily sleeps next to his foster carer during the day while she is working.

He is vaccinated, desexed, microchipped and his tick/flea and worm are also up to date.

Ollie is currently fostered with 2 cats and if fine with them. Unsure about other animals and does not like birds 😊 He would be perfectly as an only dog, but would also flourish in a family with another dog for company when his human family are not home.

All animals with Claws n Paws Rescue and Vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, desexed and often a dental.
