Hi, my name is Champ!
Don’t you think I am just the most handsome boy? I certainly do, and everyone I meet agrees.
I am a typical French Bulldog, in every sense of those words. I am a very happy-go-lucky boy with a real zest for life; when my foster family come home I love to show them how much I missed them with zoomies around the front room. I am also a real clown with a hilariously expressive face. If I am displeased, you will know about it, my side eye is second to none. However, I wouldn’t be a French Bulldog if I wasn’t also a little stubborn at times and living proof that my big old ears are really only decorative.
I am one big cuddle bug, and will happily sit with my humans for a belly rub, man I REALLY love a belly rub. However I am equally as happy strolling around my garden and sunbathing, if I so choose. I respond very well to consistency and routine and love having a doggy door to come in and out of in the day.
I have lived with multiple other dogs from a 40kg Bullmastiff, Cattle dog, another Frenchie and a senior Pug, with no problems what so ever. Sometimes I bark at dogs on a walk if I am not sure, but I am always friendly when I get to say hello. I have regularly interacted with children from 1 years old, and lived with children 10 years and over with no problems. I am always a gentle, well behaved boy.
I need an owner who is home more often than not and who has experience with Brachycephalic breeds. I would not suit someone who has never owned a flat faced breed or who wants to go on long strenuous hikes, runs or enjoys any activity in the middle of the day. If you work from home and want someone to lie at your feet all day, I am your man.
I have a couple of breed standard health issues that you will need to be aware of, not one of these effect my quality of life or stop me from being a normal happy doggo. A full vet report will be provided by Precious Paws.
I need some continued work reinforcing my house training and reducing my scent marking, however in the 3 months I have been with my foster family, this has got significantly better and with the love and dedication of my new family, I will only get better and better.
I cannot wait to meet you!
Snorts and kisses, Champ
Medical notes
Breed standard brachycephalic airways and breed standard vertebrae issues.
