About Elvis
Hey there, I’m Elvis!
My sister Priscilla and I have been in foster care since we were babies. We were bottle fed in our first foster home and then once we were ready moved to our current foster home where we have learnt so many things from the three resident cats. Two of them aren’t fans of us, and if we try to play with them they hiss and growl at us, but that’s okay because that teaches us social cues and etiquette to enable us to be good cats for our forever families. The other resident cat likes to sniff us and groom us, and sometimes play.
We have a foster sister who is 9 years old and we love playing with her. She picks us up and carries us around.
I love to tell stories all day long and let my foster family know that I’m around or I need attention. You’ll find me “figure-eighting” around your legs and rubbing your ankles. I like to sleep in the sun on the cat shelf on the window and I enjoying following a laser and playing with cat toys. I’d be happy as an only cat if my forever family is home most of the day, but I think I’d get stressed out if you left me by myself for too long. But if you already have a cat at home I think I’d fit in nicely. I have met a dog through a glass and screen door and I’m okay with him being there as long as he stays outside and I’m inside.
I’m on the lookout for a family that will love me, pat me and care for me forever and ever. Is my new family you?
Yours truely,
Elvis 😻
Medical notes
When I was desexed the vets told me they I have a slight heart murmur. This type of physiologic murmur disappears when the heart rate is normal and has no impact on the cat's health. In general, a physiologic or innocent heart murmur will have a low intensity and does not cause any symptoms or clinical signs.
