About Potato Scallop
Hi friends, my name is Potato Scallop! My siblings and I were saved from a regional NSW pound. We made the long drive up to Toowoomba, have had our vet work done and now I am looking for my forever home.
I am the largest of my siblings - I am currently about 9kg and won't get much larger than this. I am also the bravest. It can take me a while to warm up to new dogs but it doesn't take me long before I am making friends!
In my foster home I am an only dog and do well by myself. I would do well adopted into a home with no other dogs, provided someone was there more often than not to give me the love and attention I deserve. I do live with a cat, and we get along very well and often snuggle up together on the couch.
I am great inside and outside. I am allowed inside when my foster family are home, but I am still working on my toilet training, which is getting better and better every day.
I may be a small fella, but I am a cattle dog at heart, so I am quite active and cheeky. I would definitely love an active family to take me on adventures and include me in daily activities. As long as there isn't too much travel as I get a little sick in the car.
I love everyone, especially children and would do well in a home with tiny humans about. I love strangers and get along with everyone.
I am super dooper easy to train, and a fast learner. In just the short time I have been in care I have learned to sit, lay down, shake and I am working on wait. How awesome is that!
I am very affectionate, and also very playful. I get the zoomies pretty easy, so make sure you remind me to calm down when I need to!
I am such an easy going and loveable pup that would make the perfect addition to any home!
