Freddy & Wilma are our longest term residents in the rescue and they have waited so patiently for a home, for the longest time. Over a year in care and multiple foster homes the only stability they've had in their life is each other. We are begging at this point for a home for them where they can grow and flourish and finally have a family to call their own. They are on shy side with strangers but once they get to know you they truly are such adorable cats that will provide hours upon hours of entertainment.

Freddy likes to hang out with you, especially if you work from home he will sit with you and keep you company. He's obsessed with toys in any and all forms and loves to engage with them all! Laser pointer, birdy toy, fishing rod, absolutely any toy he will act like a little kitten and play for hours. Wilma is a little more shy, she relys on Freddy so please do not ask to seperate them, surprisingly we've been asked this many times and the answer is no we will not seperate them, it will breka their hearts. They even call for each other when one cant find the other. Once Wilma gets to know you she will follow you around the house and she will even 'talk' to you to make sure you're around with her little chirps, feel free to talk back to her. They are absoloutely obsessed with each other, they cuddle together, nap together and are the true essence of a bonded pair. You don't have to worry about being absent from the house because they will always have each other for company.

They are foodies and treats are the way to their heart! There's no fussy eaters here. They might not be lap cats but they love to hang out and chill with their family.

Being on the shy side and unsure of strangers they will need time to decompress in their new home. Sometimes we feel we're stating the obvious but it has to be said, they need time to adjust to their new surroundings and get familiar with you. Please don't expect a new pet, especially a shy one to act at home and comfortable right away, if you moved house and families you would need time to adjust also. We are looking for someone to give them a real chance at a loving home.

We just want to find a home for them, we need a hero ❤️ 🙏

We have even waived the adoption fee for this pair to find them the right home. We do still require our normal adoption application as well as signed adoption agreement but we have waived the fee for their adoption.

Come on Melbourne, there has to be the right home for these two gorgeous matching tabby brother and sister duo. They need a home to call their own watching them grow up in care is truly breaking our hearts.
