On Hold
About Dior has a meet and greet today.
Dior is a nine month old German Shepherd x Rottweiler who has found herself needing to find a caring home.
Dior has grown up with six young children and her best friend is a cat. Dior being a blend of the intelligence of the German Shepherd and the gentle loyalty of the Rottweiler.
Dior is now ready to find a new home. Dior needs a home with a couple or family who have large breed experience as she is a young dog that has minimal training, so will need someone that is willing to put the time and effort in to help this young dog learn further manners.
She will need time to gain her new families trust but we can see she is such a gentle girl and good natured.
We want her to go to a home where she will be an integral family member.
Intelligence, loyalty, love and companionship is what Dior will give in abundance when she connects and builds that trust with her new owner.
If you understand the nature of the German Shepherd and the gentleness of the Rottweiler and have recently owned a large breed, and are looking for a companion dog then please consider Dior
If you think you can give me a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Dior”
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet Dior. If for any reason he doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing her back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
Dior will be desexed by our vets when she has turned 13 months of age. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped and will be life time registered.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
