About Millie
Millie is a sweet but shy girl who loves, cuddles, her toys, sandpit and training. She thrives from mental stimulation and loves puzzles and playing fetch. She gets along well with other dogs and people, she is timid at first, but will come out of her shell quickly when given space. She has won over everyone she has met with her sweet nature.
She currently shares a house with a toddler, a male dog and a cat.
Millie is food motivated and loves training, she is easily taught and learns quickly.
She will sit for her food and toys (puzzles or treat drop balls are her favourite).
She travels great in the car and loves to go for drives and also walks well on a lead, with little to no pulling.
She can sit, lay, and go to her bed on command and would benefit from continued training.
She is also fully house trained and enjoys her time shared between inside and out. She loves family time and having a cuddle on the couch.
Millie will be looking for a home where she gets to spend time inside with her family and sleeps in the comfort of the house, out of the weather elements. Ideally her new family will continue her training and even take her to group training sessions. Millie will only be homed with a family that has a desexed male dog that will be a good companion and play mate for her.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet. We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
