About Knox
Hi, my name is Michaelangelo!
I came to the RSPCA when my people were unable to care for me anymore. I come from a working line of GSD, so it is imperative that my new owners have experience with my breed, as I have all the breed traits.
Michaelangelo is a sweet boy, who has had little in the way of life experiences. He has no foundational skills, however shows great motivation to learn. He needs a dedicated owner to take things slowly as he has had no experience with the big wide world and he will need a slow introduction to it. He is undersocialised, and shows some fear behaviour when he has met other dogs in the shelter. So if you do have another dog, it will need to be an older and calm, preferably female dog who will be tolerant of a puppy and their antics!
This sweet boy needs all his foundational training and this includes toilet training and walking on a lead. While he is a bit too old for puppy school, obedience training would be very beneficial for him.
An active home is essential, as well as being allowed indoor access to be with you.
Michaelangelo is part of our delayed desexing program, which means he will go home with you un-desexed, with an appointment to to be made in 18-24 months when he will have finished his growing.
If you would like to know more about me, please call my friends at the RSPCA on 5978 9001.
