About Ziggy
Hi, my name is Ziggy, and I’m a 2 year old female border collie x kelpie. Everyone that meets me comments on what a beautiful nature I have. I like to think I offer the best of both world, I can be busy and energetic when we are on the go but I also love cuddles and believe that I am a lap dog at heart.
I love exercise and enjoy my daily walks and visits to the park. I also love to swim in lakes or rivers regardless of how cold it is. I walk great on a leash and never ever pull but I also love being off leash and I will just happily walk along side you. I love playing with other four legged friends I meet out and about although I can be a bit shy at first but I warm up very quickly.
I am extremely attentive and can read situations well, so because of this I pick up new instructions very fast. I can sit, drop and stay and always come when recalled even if you are very far away.
At the moment I live with two other dogs which is great because I love to play but I do love my carers attention more. There are also these three little people here that touch me and follow me all day long, I absolutely love it.
I’m now ready to find my forever home, I would fit in well in a family with children or other doggy friends however I would do okay as a solo dog as well (so long as I get lots of cuddles). My family will also need to provide me with the physical and mental stimulation that a dog of my breed requires, and include me in their day-to-day lives.
If I sound like the girl for you, please send in an application today!
Ziggy is located in NSW.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
