Hi, my name is Kaija! I’m a young quirky female American Staffy X that is looking for cozy couch with a lap to use as a pillow.

I have been spending my time in foster care learning how to dog from my foster brother and sister, a 3yo male and 4mo female pup. They have been teaching me how to play tug-a-war, how to wrestle for fun and the joys of a good chew toy. I enjoy a snuggling with them on the couch after a good play session.

I have had a bit of a rough start in life and have had no training prior to my rescue from the pound. My foster mum has been working hard on the basics with me, like ‘sit’ & ‘stay’. I have also been working on my manners and I have learnt that I can cuddle on the couch but the humans bed is a no go, I am still learning not to jump up at the kitchen bench and table but I am getting much better.

I would love someone who is going to show me lots of love and attention and continue with my training to help me be the best doggo I can be. I would love to have a furry friend to play with and would benefit from being in a home where I’m not left all day. My foster family have two children aged 5 and 11 and I have been fantastic with them.
