Hello there, my name is Wiggins and I'm a brave and resilient Certified Good Boy™. I've had a bit a tough life so far, but I'm ready to put that all behind me and start a new chapter with a loving family who will help me continue to learn and grow.

When I first came in to foster care, I was recovering from some wounds from being attacked by a couple of dogs, and I was really scared of humans; but with the help of my supportive foster carers and their dog, I've been learning to trust and love again. It's been a slow process, but I'm getting there! I'm starting to see that humans can be pretty great too, and I now love nothing more than to be held in warm, loving arms (literally, I love being held like a baby)!

Even though I'm 5 years old, I'm just now discovering how much fun life can be! I love going for walks, playing with my dog sister, and snuggling up with my humans for a nap. I also really enjoy being by your side, whether that means helping you in the kitchen (I’m a great taste-tester), playing a game of tug of war, or soaking up some sun. I'm a loyal and devoted companion who just wants to be loved and cared for. I’m okay being left at home for a few hours, as long as I have a comfy bed and a cosy blanket! (My current dog sister keeps me company too).

I am still learning to trust, and I have come so far, but I know I still have a lot to learn. I will need a gentle and supportive family who can continue to build on my trust and confidence with reassurance and guide me as we explore the big, wide world. I feel safe when my surroundings are consistent and predictable.
My ideal family would have another calm and respectful (with a dash of playfulness) dog companion who can help me learn and explore the joys of being a dog. With the right family, I know I can be the best dog I can be!
