Gunner

Gunner is our highly intellectual, male Shepherd and we believe that he will be the most beautiful companion once we get him into a home.

Gunner, like most Shepherds, would be best suited to an experienced dog owner. He is everything that his breed is renowned for, courageous, fearless and focused. This boy thrives on training and using that keen intellect of his. He would excel at any kind of obedience or trick training.

He has lived with a small dog previously and is enjoying slowly meeting new dogs at the shelter. He is still learning how to interact properly with his four-legged friends. He may be able to go home with another dog if they are a good match for each other.

This boy is big on pleasing his people. If he had it his way, he would be in your company all day, every day. Part time workers, working from home or retirees would be his dream as his soul purpose in life, is pleasing his humans. He came into our care with prior training often defaulting to a heal position and choosing to remain by your side even when off lead.
