About Lucy *On Trial*
*lucy is currently trialling her new home* here’s lucy!!! well i think its fairly obvious how we came up with snoopy’s name so of course his gorgeous looking sister and trusty side-kick had to be lucy!!!!
adorable lucy and snoopy were rescued by sarg from our local pound after this lovely litter of pups were sadly dumped there. Lucy and snoopy’s littermates have headed off to their new homes so now its time for these sweet babies to find somewhere special too!!
lucy is a happy, friendly, healthy pup who loves her food so we’re hoping that will help with her training. She loves cuddles and attention as well as romping around with her brother or playing with her toys – hogging the ball is her specialty! lucy is confident around humans of all shapes and size and gets on well with other friendly dogs. She is definitely the boss out of this pair :)
our vets seem to think she’s a terrier x labrador whereas the pound guessed her as a mastiff x so it sounds like she’ll be medium to large once she finishes growing. You can’t see it very well in her photos but she has lots of wirey hairs coming through her coat so maybe there’s wire haired terrier or wolfhound in there too?? \ whatever breeds she’s made up of it all seems to work perfectly for pretty little lucy!!
while in care lucy will learn the basics such as “sit” and “down” and as she’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to have lovely manners! daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to keep her stimulated are also a necessity so she doesn’t get bored and up to mischief. Lucy would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while she’s a pup. If you think you’ve got the time, patience and love to bring up lucy then please contact sarg for an application now!!
