About Duke
Please meet the handsome Duke, he is a bit of a smoocher. He will look to sit beside you or on you, even take position on your chest. As long as he is close to you, he is happy. Duke loves to receives pats, even on his belly and is happy to be picked up. At times he will give you breathing space and go and find his own spot, often hiding in a cupboard. Duke has periods of being active overnight night and would love an outdoor cat run to explore in. Duke will only be considered to a larger home where he gets to live his life in safety and therefore needs to be an indoor only cat (or with an outdoor cat enclosure). He prefers to be the only pet in the home and would like his people home more often than not. Duke will require regular brushing to keep his beautiful coat clean and knot free.
A yard with fences is not enough to keep Duke safely contained.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet. We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
