About Snoopy
Well i think its fairly obvious how we came up with snoopy’s name so of course his sister had to be lucy!!!! (please note: snoopy's sister lucy has been adopted so he's all alone. . . . . Well not really as his best mate now is his carer's adult male heeler x !!)
adorable snoopy and lucy were rescued by sarg from our local pound after this lovely litter of pups were sadly dumped there. Snoopy and lucy’s littermates have headed off to their new homes so now its time for these gorgeous babies to find somewhere special too!!
snoopy is a terrific, laid-back kinda pup who seems to always have a silly grin at the ready! he loves pats and cuddles as well as romping around with his sister or playing with his toys. Snoopy is confident around humans of all shapes and size and gets on well with other friendly dogs. Lucy tends to boss him around a bit but it doesn’t faze this little guy, he just goes with the flow – guess that’s the best way to play it when you’re the only male out of a litter of 5!!
our vets seem to think he’s a terrier x labrador whereas the pound guessed him as a mastiff x so it sounds like he’ll be medium to large once he finishes growing. You can’t see them very well in his photos but he has lots of black spots on his back which can be seen through his fur so maybe there’s some dalmation or staffy in there too?? whatever breeds he’s made up of it all seems to work perfectly well as he’s a nicely balanced pup. While in care snoopy will learn the basics such as “sit” and “down” and as he’s only a young pup he will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so he grows up to have lovely manners! \ daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to keep him stimulated are also a necessity so he doesn’t get bored and up to mischief. Snoopy would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on his own but only if he won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while he’s a pup. If you think you’ve got the time, patience and love to bring up snoopy then please contact sarg for an application now!!
