About Pepper - 8 Year Old Labrador X Staffy
A Labrador X staffy, Pepper is an 8 yr old girl looking for a home.
This 35kg, wanna be lap dog, has such a sweet nature that everyone who meets her falls in love. Her sweet spot is belly rubs and her eye catching blue /grey colouring will have strangers crossing the street to oblige her.
She happily shadows you around the house and gives a nice big sigh when you finally sit down to watch some telly. Fully house trained, she is a delightful companion who would suit someone who works part time as she doesn’t suffer any separation anxiety.
Fun fact - She starts each night in her own bed where she waits patiently for her foster mum to fall asleep before sneaking into bed with her.
Like most dogs her size she will require a walk at least once a day. She is still mastering the lead and can pull a bit and her new home will have people who are sturdy on their feet and who can continue with this training.
Whilst she is a social dog at heart, Peppers ideal home will be one where she is an only dog. She is happy and social when out meeting other dogs but would prefer to be an only dog in the home. She can jump up when initially meeting new people but calms down quickly.
She travels well in the car but is not a fan of thunderstorms, but mostly calms after reassurance.
For more information on Pepper, please contact her foster carer on their email lauren@laurenjonesphotography.com.au. Pepper is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW and is not available for interstate adoption. Peppers adoption fee is $300.
