About Mr Pettibones

Meet refined gentleman Mr Pettibones, who captured many hearts in his youth, and continues to do so in his prime, thank you very much! He enjoys the company of people, preferring to sit nearby and listen to his person talk (he especially loves a bit of good gossip). You’ll find Mr Pettibones is so fond of human companionship, he will follow you from room to room and sometimes he’ll chat back with a unique deep meow. Feel free to give this old chap a loving ear scritch and full body massage, goodness he deserves it! He’ll let you know when you’re doing a good job by revealing his fuzzy belly to you so that you can give him a nice tummy rub. What an honour.
As a Ragdoll cat, Mr Pettibones is long haired and will require some grooming to keep his coat in tip top condition. Brushing him daily is a good idea, though he also grooms himself without a problem as he must look sharp for the boys. Mr Pettibones shows no signs of ill-health. Even though he’s an old fellow, he’s still jumping and running about when he gets his post-dinner zoomies (his favourite food at the moment seems to be beef!).

Like all Maggie's pets, Mr Pettibones is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I enjoy company so ideally a home where my human/s can be around a often to show me some love and affection.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm an older gent, so quite chill and prefer to have a day time snooze. I will play for about 20 minutes a day.
MY SUITABLITY TO CHILDREN: Cat savvy children should be fine. I'm a confident cat, so would likely be okay.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I have lived with a dog in the past and would probably be okay if they were super chill. I don't know about cats so best as a solo feline.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
