Jett (58315)

Jett is a young, strong willed boy looking for an experienced owner that can further instill basic manners and guide him through the teenage years. Jett can be strong on lead if he picks up a scent or when he needs to pass other dogs but listens to correction well. He has been working on his patience and manners and this will need to continue in his new home. He thrives on positive reinforcement and a calm and patient handler. Jett came to us due to escaping farm fencing and bothering livestock, so no rural living for him. He may require integration into indoor/outdoor living but has some basic house skills and the ability to stay alone. Jett will need an active home, with no cats or pocket pets nor children under 16. Jett must continue to attend structured training classes to further enforce the bond between handler and dog, and work on his self-regulation. He is best suited as a single dog as he is a super rough player.
