About Mr K
Mr K can be a little shy when you first meet him but warms up quickly and is just a happy go lucky personality. K does prefer the ladies he really is a SNAG. K’s previous owner was a lady and that’s all he has known so whilst he is ok with men, he really would prefer to be your man main ladies.
At present K dog is living with a small female dog quiet happily he just loves to hang be around go for a walk and as long as you can throw a ball, he will be a happy guy, being older he isn’t high energy a walk and ball throw and he is good to go for the day. K man does definitely loves being with his person but is not in your face, sadly it seems something leading up to him coming into care has caused him to have an allergy appear around his eyes thankfully its easily treated with a one a day pill we are not sure if this will be on going however, we do feel once settled it may stop altogether but cannot guarantee this. K is not a big guy at all he weighs in under 20 kgs and walks well on lead, being a koolie and a working breed once he bonds with you you will have the best mate for this rest of his life. K has always been around a lot of dogs so socialization is easy for him.
K is crate trained making it easy to take him everywhere you go of that’s what you like. Before moving to his new carer K was at a home with cats and he was not really fussed however with dogs and cats you should always supervise to ensure household harmony. Mr K has some awesome manners and will come when he is called,
K man is a real sweetheart and will be an awesome companion or family dog as long as he is part of the family, he is not an outside forget me only type of guy he adores his people so being a part of the family is a must.
K is a med sized guy and will require an adopter or adopters willing to continue with his training to ensure he becomes the best boy ever

Meet the animal and chat to the foster carer to make sure this animal is the right one for you, your home, family and circumstances.
We recommend you have a chat as a family and a think, make sure everyone is on board and happy with the choice to add the animal to your family.
Contact the team to advise your decision either way....if this one isn't the right fit we will work with you to try and find the best match.
If this is the one, we can start the adoption process. Complete the application to adopt and promptly return the application. A home/yard check may be required by one of our team members, if this is not possible photos showing fenced and undercover areas will be required. Once application is approved, you will be invoiced. Pay the adoption fees via electronic transfer, send proof of payment to admin.
We will advise the you and foster carer the animal is clear to leave and you can arrange collection of your newest family member.
*We do have a "cooling off" period please see these terms on adoption application form.
Please note; We do offer interstate adoptions where suitable for the animal in care. All transport costs are at the adopters expense. However we will, where possible, assist with airport transfers. In liu of a meet and greet interstate adopters must have a phone interview/conversation with the foster carer. Yard/Home photos will be required with all interstate applications.
