About Faye
Quirky & unique, Faye is a divine, floofy love bug who craves cuddles and thrives on being the centre of attention, loves her humans and animal friends & enjoys wide open spaces.
Whether it’s working around the property, pottering in the garden stealing pots or gloves,
exploring with the kiddos or snoozing by your feet inside, she’s just happy to be where you are.
Cats are her favourite friends! She just loves smooching up with them, following them around and watching over them.
Faye also adores her canine companions, especially the energetic kelpie kind! She would love a male doggy pal to play, hang out and adventure with.
She has so far been wonderful with chooks and livestock in her foster home. Always supervised! Her gentle, loving & protective nature with all creatures and her instinct to patrol her property all shows good guardian potential. However, Faye is still a pup and will need a home experienced in the Maremma breed where she can be correctly and carefully monitored with any livestock or poultry as she matures. Even if not a guardian, Faye requires an experienced home and a farm where she can enjoy farm life and protect her property.
Faye is house trained, and although loves the outdoor life during the day, she currently sleeps inside and is well mannered. It can take a bit of coaxing to get her into the car, however once she’s there she thoroughly enjoys a road trip!
Faye’s obedience level is fairly good, she sits like a boss and knows to wait for her food. Typical of the breed she can be aloof and selective with recall however also knows the boundaries of her property well and stays within them
