About Pete - 10 Week Old Staffy X (Trial)
Are you looking for a cuddle bug and constant companion? Look no further and meet Pete.
Pete is happiest when he is around his people. Sitting with you while you have a coffee, playing in the yard with a ball or toy, or snuggling up to you.
Pete is a chilled puppy and would make an excellent addition to any family looking for a loving companion.
Pete looks to you for guidance and is currently learning how to be the bestest dog. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night without accidents. He knows sit, will wait patiently for his dinner and takes treats gently. He can also use a doggy door and rarely has accidents inside if he is regularly taken out to toilet. He is still learning how to walk on a lead but this should not take him long to master.
Pete is a fast learner but like all puppies, he will benefit from puppy school and needs a family who is willing to commit to consistent training, regular exercise, socialisation, mental stimulation and opportunities for games, walks, and lots of play.
Along with his brother Robbie, who is also up for adoption, Pete is living with three small male dogs over the age of ten and two small humans who are seven and eight who he adores.
Pete is going to be a medium to large dog with loads of love to give. He will need someone in his life who is prepared to have a large dog and all that goes with it.
Pete would also benefit from having a social doggie companion that is used to puppies and who he could learn from. He could however happily adjust to being an only dog if his humans were around more often than not and showered him with attention.
Pete has not been tested with cats or pocket pets but he has a calm nature and is young enough to learn how to interact appropriately with them.
Pete is microchipped and has had his first vaccination. He is also flea, tick and worm treated.
He is not yet desexed and will need to be at 6 months with proof of sterilisation from one of our approved vets.
