Daisy and Dappley

Daisy and Dappley (pet name is Dappy) are a happy little pair that we would like to rehome together. These two little snuggle bugs are very close, they sleep in the same crate and eat from the same bowl.

Dappy, 8yrs, Chocolate Dapple Mini:

Dappy has been described as a gentle soul who tends to fall into line behind Daisy.  He loves the comforts of inside living, and smooches inside his blankets and has a cute way of being able to wrap himself up underneath his blankets.  Dappy is both toilet trained and crate trained.  Dappy has not had a great deal of  outside social interactions, and we think that any outside walks should be introduced slowly and in a quiet environment. Dappy will bark at unusual or loud noises, but does tend to settle when reassured.  One of Dappy's favourite treats is a ride in the car, he loves sitting up with his harness clipped on and feeling the breeze flapping against his ears.

Daisy, 7yrs, Shaded Red Mini:

Daisy is certainly the feistier of this pair, however like Dappy she is also sweet and affectionate and will shadow her owner around the house.  Daisy is toilet trained and crate trained, and will share her dinner bowl with Dappy.  Daisy loves to scout out little sunny nooks in the back yard, so an interesting garden with sunning spots would be high on her wish list.  Daisy's beautiful brown eyes will try to hypnotise you into giving her a treat,  her favourite times are both brekky and dinner.  Her new owner will have to be strong willed with treats as Daisy is a little chubster (shhhh) and would benefit from an exercise regime that is slowly implemented.  Daisy can be quite vocal when she sees new people or dogs, and she requires a slow, calm introduction.

Please note,  Daisy and Dappy have lived a quiet, sheltered life and we don't think that they would be well suited to a busy household or an apartment.  They have had limited exposure to children, cats and other dogs.  A calm, experienced owner who understand rewards based training principles would be ideal.

They're not used to loud noises or unfamiliar environments, so introducing them gradually in quieter settings is highly recommended. However, one of Dappy's favorite treats is a ride in the car with his harness clipped on! And Daisy loves scouting out sunny nooks in the backyard - she'll be sure to appreciate an interesting garden with plenty of warm spots for lounging!
