About Gomez
The name is Gomez. Gomez Gobble Guts. I love my food but I'll also gobble up all the love, kisses and fun times.
I'm the most chill and happy boy my foster family has ever met and they all think I'm a big superstar.
Gomez does stairs like a pro athlete, he is child tolerant and patient (loves to lick sticky faces and hands and snoot away tears) and he is a MASSIVE cuddler.
He's a slight food pest while he's learning all the new yummy foods but knows what 'out of the kitchen' means. 'On your bed' and 'leave it' are also in this clever dude's vocabulary.
Gomez is currently living with three greyhound savvy young boys and two greyhound foster siblings.
Adoption details
1) Please email hello@amazinggreys.com.au to receive our adoption application form. This form helps us learn more about you, your household and work commitments.
2) Once we received your application, Amazing Greys conducts an in person home check to make sure your home is secure and suitable for a greyhound.
3) Based on the home check, our adoptions team will suggest a suitable match for you*, and a meet and greet will be arranged with the foster home
4) After the meet and greet, should you decide to proceed the greyhound will be placed on a 3 week trial with you
5) At the completion of the trial period, our $400 fee will be due and the greyhound becomes an official member of your family!
Our team will keep in touch with you throughout the process and help you to settle in your new greyhound; but you will also have lifetime support, at any point post adoption our team can assist with referrals to qualified behaviourists and also providing resources and in home consultations where required.
*Where a suitable match is not available, you may be placed onto a wait list. Please note, we do not cat test and may refer applications with small animals to organisations that are able to assist with a placement
