NOTE: You are unable to meet Ollie until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Ollie in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.
What I need in my new home:
• BREED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED due to breed specific traits and characteristics
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• I arrived at the shelter as a stray so my history is unknown. Due to this, my interaction with cats that are free roaming in the house or yard is completely unknown. I appeared friendly and gentle when meeting them at the shelter however there can be no guarantee that I will be ok living with cats in a home. May be ok with slow intro and dog savvy cat
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A family who promise to keep me well groomed and brush me regularly so I'm always looking and feeling my best
• Lots of love and attention
• Being a social and playful pupper I would love to go to doggy daycare
• Being an active breed I have a lot of energy so an active family is a must!
Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Pocket pets as I find them fun to chase
My best features:
• Happy, exuberant, and a full of life boy who oozes with character
• Very playful & chatty
• I can sit
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• Social butterfly
• Love to snuggles on the couch
• Lots of fun to be around with my playful nature and quirky antics
Where I need to improve / Training required
• I will require further basic training so that I am the best mannered and behaved boy that I can be
• I can pull strongly on the lead and bunny hop when I am excited and trying to get to something of interest - walking in a harness/halti and further on lead training should help this
Adoption details
All adoptions are through an application process.
You will find the link to the online application form in each animal’s profile.
Preferred applicants will be phoned to book an appointment to meet the dog or cat.
Once the adoption has been finalised, unsuccessful applicants will be notified via email.
Please allow up to 2 weeks for adoptions to be finalised and emails sent.
