About Cuddles
Cuddles is looking for a quiet home with owners that will be patient with her adapting to her new life.
Cuddles will only be rehomed to a home that has another confident dog.
Cuddles will need an owner that will allow her to have her own space until she builds trust. Cuddles has been in care for a month and has shown small signs of progress but still has a long way to go before she will trust people. If you are okay with not receiving immediate love and affection from a dog and are willing to allow her to love and trust you in her own time, then Cuddles may be the dog for you.
Cuddles has been sleeping inside and is semi house trained. She will need to have someone continue to work on house training. Cuddles has been eating small amounts of food and needs to continue to increase her food intake and put on some weight.
In the last 2 weeks Cuddles has gone on some small walks on lead and has shown signs of enjoying being outside and smelling new things. She will only walk on the lead at the moment if she is following one of her foster brothers so she will need to be slowly introduced to outings and going for walks in her new home. She will need to be harnessed for all walks as she is still quite scared and could possibly run if she has a fright.
Cuddles barks if left inside on her own but has been okay if left with other dogs.
Cuddles will be a great little bundle of joy for the right person once she has been able to settle and receive love and patience.
She will need to be groomed every 6 to 8 weeks to keep her coat in good condition and brushed daily to be sure no matting happens.
If you are interested in adopting Cuddles and think you can offer her the support and love that she needs, please send an email responding with as much information to the questions below about your household, daily activities and what life will be like for Cuddles in your home. The more information that is provided the easier it is to assess the right fit for him.
