About Bloom
“The very best relationship has a gardener and a flower. The gardener nurtures and the flower blooms”
Bloom is like a beautiful flower who is looking for her nurturing gardener. This absolutely gorgeous girl is the sweetest dog you will ever meet. There is no doubt that she will bring endless amounts of joy to your life. Bloom is looking for her new best friend whom she can follow around everywhere and be the loving companion of. This beautiful girl has the most gorgeous soft temperament. She comes over to you, leans in and then looks at you with the most soulful eyes that absolutely melt you. You seriously cannot help but fall in love with this dog.
Bloom is extra special as she is a tri-pawd doggie. This means that she really needs an owner who will be dedicated to some extra special care for her and understands her limitations. Bloom thoroughly enjoys getting out and about but can only go on short relaxing walks. She is not going to be your new fitness buddy! Her diet will need to be high quality and she will need to maintain a lean figure. Bloom will need to be on joint supplements everyday to ward off and support arthritis.
This girl is a social butterfly and she adores people. She loves going to the local café and getting all the pats and attention. Bloom is a sensitive soul and prefers when she can approach people rather than the other way around – she can sometimes shy from people trying to rush in and pat her over the head. Her new owner should always be aware of her body language and be a firm advocate for her. When Bloom has the opportunity to go to people for affection, she becomes their best friend and just laps up all the love.
Bloom is friendly with other dogs and would be happy to live with another doggie friend, but she is really a people focused dog. She follows her foster carer everywhere and is never far behind them. Bloom would be fine to live with another dog as long as they were not rough with her considering her disability. For the same reason she wouldn’t really be the dog you take to off-lead dog areas with unknown dogs who could run into her. Bloom loves to go on outings to the park where she can sit with you in the sunshine. She would be a fantastic office or shop dog due to her beautiful temperament and love of people.
Bloom is a well-behaved girl who doesn’t really need any further training. She is excellent off lead as she is always going to be beside you. While in foster care she has started crate training and shown that she is absolutely fine to spend time home alone. Bloom travels well in the car; however, she does need some support to get in and out so someone able to assist her or willing to provide a strong ramp will be required. She is a solid girl but not very tall – she is only about knee-height. Her new home will also need to have no or minimal steps.
We are looking for a dog experienced home for Bloom where she will be the centre of her new owner’s life. She is looking for a situation where someone is home most of the time or can take her to work with them. Bloom can be an only dog or live with another respectful dog not interested in playing with her. She must be allowed to be inside with her family and have a warm comfy bed (preferably orthopaedic) inside to sleep on at night. Bloom can baulk at loud noises so would prefer a quieter environment. This stunning girl is just one of the best dogs around and whoever gets to adopt her will be very lucky indeed.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
