Zanzibar is a confident, playful, and adventurous pup whose heart is full of affection.

He will say hello to anyone he passes while out for a walk just to get some pats and cuddles.

He loves being centre of attention and will follow you around to make sure he’s not missing out on any fun!

Zanzibar currently sleeps in a crate. Once he is released, he starts his day with zoomies and chasing/playing with his foster sister.

Once he has expelled some energy, he spends most of his day with his head in his toy box pulling out and playing with anything he can find.

He LOVES his chew toys! After dinner he wants nothing more than to have a snuggle on the couch with his humans.

He would like a dog companion to play with and would benefit from having a mentor who he can learn from.

If he’s to be an only dog, he will require enrichment activities like Kong toys, bones to chew, and toys to keep him entertained when left alone.

Zanzibar has developed a passion for socks and shoes/laces, so best to keep out of reach.

As most pups his age, Zanzibar is still developing his self-control and basic manners.

He would benefit greatly from training and requires learning some boundaries and calming behaviours.

He is highly food motivated and is eager to please. He has learnt to use a doggy door and will wait by the door to go outside.

However, he can have the occasional accident if he can’t hold on.

Zanzibar would love an active family who would include him in their daily lives.

He would be suited to a home with dog savvy children who can handle puppy behaviour.

He loves all the attention and affection he can get and will provide you with much laughter, joy and unconditional love.
