About Sake and Sochu
*In foster care in Drummoyne, Sydney*
Sake (browner coat) and Sochu (darker stripes) are bonded sisters who offer the best of both worlds! Sake is full of heart, courageous and very playful; while Sochu is shy, gentle, and cautious :)
Sake reaches for the stars every day - she'll try anything once, and likes to perch on your shoulders as you walk around! Smart and curious, and a keen observer, she's also super-energetic and growls like a little tiger when she gets her teeth into a toy. Secret talent: her cute pigeon coos, and the loudest purr in the house!
Sochu is her sister's polar opposite: if you settle down with a book/show/sleep, she’ll immediately curl up on you. When she wakes up from a sofa snooze, she’ll let out a tiny cry and wait for you to bring your forehead down for a head boop :) That’s her love language, and every time she does it, she blesses you with a tingly feeling in your heart. There are two things she adores - Sake and YOU. Toys are a distant third. You and Sake will be her universe!
Total cutie-pies and cuddle bugs, Sake and Sochu both enjoy curling themselves around your neck when you lie down. They have regular nail clips and coat brushing with no stress. As the most purrfect pair ever, they're also respectful of bedtime, furniture, and fingers. What's not to love?
Like all Maggie's pets, Sake and Sochu are microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

OUR IDEAL HOME: ... will be quiet and calm, with a single person, couple or family with older kids and at least one person who'll be home more often than not.
Though we usually sleep by ourselves, we'd love to be allowed to join you in bed when we hear you talk or when the alarm goes off. Our foster carers call our names and we race in, hop right up and curl up on them - we're sure you'll find us equally irresistible!
OUR ENERGY LEVEL: Sake - high! Sochu - moderate. We provide the perfect balance for each other’s needs :)
OUR SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Kids of at least school age who'll be patient and respectful in giving us space to play on our own terms would be lovely.

We've not met any dogs yet.
(Sochu is very cautious of anything new and may need more space and patience when it comes to meeting new pets.)

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
