Lizzie and her carers have had an awful and sad past 2 weeks. Lizzie's twin sister Beatrice passed away after having an allergic reaction to the anesthetic when they went in for desexing. The vets did everything they could for poor Beatrice but she could not be saved. So it was Lizzie to return home solo.

Lizzie then pulled out her stitches and licked and abbreviated the wound which then became infected - so Lizzie had to spend a few nights back at the vets on antibiotics and be restitched.

Our black kitties and especially now that Lizzie has hit the 6 month age bracket (meaning no longer an itty bitty squish - but at one stage she was - and her siblings were the most adorable, fluffy little spuds) work against her in the adoption pool.

Lizzie is a super affectionate kitty and has been well cat socialised (she is in care with newbie Thompson) and the resident cats and also used to a small indoor dog. The perfect feline for a family's first cat - as a solo or with furry buddies.
