Not all treasure is silver and gold, it is black and white and his name is Jack.
If you’re looking for a happy go lucky, loyal and handsome companion, then I’m your man!
I’m a superstar on the lead, walking very politely without pulling plus I’ve learnt to sit and wait before crossing a street. Long bush walks or going to the beach top my list of things to do, because I’m a curious pup and love investigating new noises and surroundings.
Since I love food, training me will be a snack. I have quickly learnt that good behaviour earns treats! I have beautiful manners and will sit and wait for food.
I could happily entertain myself through the day with a treat filled kong. I’m quite content to spend a lot of the day outside, sometimes by myself or sometimes playing with a doggy sibling.
I learnt how to use a doggie door to go inside or outside. I’m happy sleeping inside in a crate and make it right through the night without fuss.
I’d love a playmate of the furry kind. I can’t wait to have my own forever family, one who can commit to my ongoing training, regular exercise, play and lots of LOVE and ADVENTURE!
I’m set to go! Microchipped, flea, tick and worm treated, vaccinated and desexed.
That means I can go anywhere for the right family.
Need more info? Contact my foster carer on email rio.drnshelter@gmail.com OR please fill out the adoption application form at https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt.
I’m currently living in Port Stephens area and my adoption fee is $900
You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt NOT just the reference number or the microchip number as this may delay your application reaching the correct foster carer
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
