About Nori
If you’re looking for your very own real-life twin to The Wizard of Oz’s Toto then say hello to Nori. Nori is a 2-year-old, small mix breed with a beautiful black, wiry coat that appears to be non to slow shedding. Her foster carer says she's had MANY dogs in her care over the years, but Nori is the perfect little pup.
Nori came into care a petrified dog from a rural NSW facility. We carefully placed her with one of our foster carers who has an adult only home, a few nice dogs for company and a relaxed lifestyle where she could find her feet. She was unsure and reserved for the first few weeks, but it didn’t take long for her carer to show Nori life isn’t that bad and now she has blossomed into an incredible dog with a zest for life. One of Nori's defining characteristics is her super affectionate nature. Her foster carer says that "affectionate" should be her middle name. She loves nothing more than cuddling up closely to her humans on the sofa or chair.
While in foster care, Nori has begun some very basic training, such as sit and stay. However, this will need to be ongoing. She is toilet and crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night. When her foster carer opens the crate at night, she excitedly runs to get into it. When you arrive home, Nori is so excited to see you with her tail wagging non-stop. She uses a dog door and loves nothing more than to lie in the sunshine on the deck. She travels well in the car and Nori also loves going on walks and walks very well on a harness/lead. She is currently living with 3 other dogs and loves meeting dogs of all sizes out and about. We will be only looking for a home with another dog at home that is stable, friendly and well trained. She is also cat friendly.
We are looking for a loving, dog experienced home for Nori where she'll be included in her family's daily activities. She needs to be allowed inside as she loves nothing more than to cuddle up closely to her humans on the sofa or chair. She also really loves to sit behind you as you have your meals. Nori has not been around young children and due to her nature, we will be looking for an adult only home. She will require someone home more often than not, at least while she settles in as we feel she will revert a little in a new environment so needs her people around until she feels at home.
Nori will make the perfect addition to the perfect home. She's laid back, affectionate and loves to be near you. If you're interested in adopting Nori, please fill out an adoption form on the Fetching Dogs website and please include plenty of detail about your experience with dogs and what sort of lifestyle you can provide Nori.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
