About Ricky
Ricky is a cheeky young Husky boy who is desperate to find his forever family! He is a very social fellow who has lived in a multi-dog household and gets along with everyone.
Being a youngster, Ricky loves to get up to a bit of mischief so if you don’t want your stuff to end up as a chew-toy, it’s best to keep it out of Ricky’s reach! He will need an owner who is firm but fair with him, and who is prepared to set him some boundaries and commit to ongoing training and encouraging good manners.
Ricky is happy to chill out inside with his family or be outside with his Husky friends, so he would be best suited to a home with a female doggy companion of similar size. He can play a bit rough at times so any children would need to be at least in their teens, and he would not be safe to have around cats or other small pets.
Being a typical Husky, Ricky will need a secure yard with shelter and fences at least 6 foot high, and indoor access when the family is home.
Ricky will need:
* any children to be in their teens
* no cats, pocket pets
* a home with a female canine companion of similar size
* daily walks, always on lead
* a reasonable sized yard with grass & garden areas and an undercover area for shelter
* fences and gates will need to be at least 6 foot high, secure and dig-proof
* Homes with arctic breed experience, preferably with Husky ownership, will be given priority.
**Adoption Fee Reduced NOW $250.00**
If you meet Ricky’s requirements and need a bit more Husky in your life, please apply!
