About Annie
Annie is a sweet fourteen month old German Shepherd whose owner has passed away and his wife isn't able to give her all the exercise she needs. She is currently living with foster carers in Oberon.
Annie loves to play with balls and chasing flies.
Her foster carer laughs when she runs and does a few bunny hops.
Annie will be best to go to a home with children 10 years or older due to her energy level.
She is strong on lead and doesn't know how to walk but can easily learn.
Annie is looking for a new home where she can connect with her family and show how much love she can give to her humans.
She is looking for a home that have experience with the German Shepherd breed and have the time and commitment for this young dog. Due to her energy level she isn't suitable to go to a home with young children.
Annie has not been tested with cats or pocket pets.
Intelligence, loyalty, love and companionship is what Annie will give in abundance when she connects and builds that trust with her new owner.
If you understand the nature of the German Shepherd, have recently owned this breed, and are looking for a companion dog then please consider Annie.
If you think you can give me a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Annie".
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family and any dogs to meet Annie. If for any reason she doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing her back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
Annie is microchipped, vaccinated and desexed.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
