About Rocco
Rocco is an eleven month old German Shepherd whose owners circumstances have changed and now needs to find him a new home.
Rocco has a well-balanced temperament and is social with dogs and walks well on the lead.
Rocco is an intelligent dog and responds to basic commands.
We would recommend Rocco's new family continue with his socialisation to ensure he continues to grow into a self assured and calm dog.
We are looking for a committed owner who will ensure Rocco becomes an integral member of the family. Previous experience with this breed or large breed dogs is a must.
If you are prepared to make a 10 year plus commitment to this beautiful boy then click on the link on your screen and provide us with your details.
Rocco hasn't been tested with cats or pocket pets.
If you think you can give Rocco a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Rocco".
If you live in Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family and any dogs to meet Rocco. If for any reason he doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing him back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
Rocco is microchipped and vaccinated and will be desexed once he turns one.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
