About Mooki
Introducing Mooki: Foster Carer with view of Adoption needed
Meet Mooki, an adorable and energetic Boxer currently looking for a foster home with the potential for adoption. Though Mooki is currently located in NSW/Armidale, her forever home doesn’t have to be limited to this area. This lovable pup is eager to find a family that can provide her with the love, attention, and active lifestyle she craves.
Mooki has a few favourite pastimes that make her tail wag with joy. First and foremost, food is a top priority for her. Mealtime will always bring a smile to her face, and she appreciates any treats that come her way. When she’s not indulging in delicious treats, Mooki loves to cuddle up and receive belly rubs and scratches, relishing in the attention and affection she receives.
Being an active breed, Mooki thrives on long walks in the bush. Exploring the great outdoors and taking in the scents and sights of nature truly excite her. On lazy days, she enjoys lounging in the sun, preferably on a swinging chair, basking in the warmth and tranquillity.
Mooki is also a fan of cosy nights spent in front of a crackling fire. The flickering flames provide the perfect backdrop for her to unwind and relax.
But it’s not just outdoor activities that Mooki loves; she’s also a fan of going for drives. Car rides provide her with an opportunity to explore new places and create new memories. With positive reinforcement training, Mooki has developed impressive skills such as sitting and dropping on command. She’s also mastered the art of waiting for dinner and going through doors and gates calmly.
Currently, Mooki is working on improving her recall and heeling abilities. She’s eager to learn and respond well to positive reinforcement methods. Her intelligence and willingness to please make her an ideal candidate for further training and expanding her repertoire of skills.
When it comes to her downtime, Mooki has discovered the joy of scratching a scratch pad and sitting on a cosy hot spot. She’s even started learning to weave between her owner’s legs, a skill that will surely impress anyone who witnesses it. Furthermore, Mooki is crate-trained and finds comfort in her crate, where she happily sleeps.
While Mooki has a playful and sociable nature, there are a few things that she dislikes. She prefers not to share anything of value, especially food, and being left alone can lead to her barking. She has a clever tactic of rearranging furniture to grab your attention if she’s left outside and wants to come indoors. Mooki doesn’t enjoy being excluded from activities and can become upset if other dogs challenge or talk back to her.
Although Mooki is dog social, she really prefers to be the only dog at home, she just wants all your attention.
If you are considering opening your home and heart to Mooki, you’ll be rewarded with a loving, loyal, and energetic companion. This Boxer’s zest for life is contagious, and she’ll bring endless joy and laughter to your household. Whether you reside in NSW/Armidale or elsewhere, Mooki is ready to embark on a new adventure with a forever family that will cherish her and provide the active and loving home she deserves.
