About Milla
If squishy faces are your thing, then you need to meet Milla!
This beautiful dog is absolutely wonderful. She is a super sweet dog who is very affectionate and cuddly with her people. Milla will lap up all the pats and attention that is on offer. She is happy to make friends with new people and other dogs. Milla doesn’t really know how to play with toys, but she will have a bit of a game with you if you get her excited enough. Otherwise, she is more than happy to just get some love and cuddles from you.
While in foster care, Milla has been living with another dog harmoniously and will initiate play with him on occasion. She was also socialised with dogs at the pound (see videos if available) and when on outings with her foster carer. Milla is friendly with other dogs and very tolerant of puppies. Being a more mature girl, Milla does not need a huge amount of exercise. A nice daily walk is all she asks for to keep her moving and allow her to explore. She is quite inquisitive of the world around her when out on walks but follows on the lead nicely.
At home, Milla is a relatively quiet dog who is happy to hang out in the yard to catch some sun and come in for a nice nap or some cuddle time. She will only bark to alert if someone comes to the house. Milla has no separation anxiety and is fine home alone. She has nice manners around the home and is toilet trained. Milla is crate trained and sleeps there peacefully throughout the night. She will sit on command and will wait for her food or at the back door until given the release command. Milla is just above knee height but obviously has a chunkier build due to her breed type. Unfortunately, she doesn’t photograph like a supermodel, but she is such a pretty girl in person and often has that big happy smile on her face which is infectious.
We are looking for a dog savvy home where Milla will be a part of the family and enjoy all the creature comforts. She would be happy as an only dog or with a younger dog. Milla is currently living with a child and has shown to be good with him and others. She would be fine to join a family with children who are respectful of aging dogs and understand that she might be spooked by too many fast movements around her. Milla should be allowed to be inside with the family and must have a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. She is a lovely natured dog who will make a wonderful addition to her new home and bring lots of love and happiness with her.
If you would like to give Milla the home that she deserves, then please complete a Dog Adoption Enquiry Form on the Fetching Dogs website as the first step. Please add plenty of detail about your household and the type of lifestyle you can offer Milla.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
