About Morti (Morticia) π
Morti is approaching her 1-year anniversary π’, it is not one we want to celebrate but she was ready for adoption in November 2024. Over 11,000 views of her petrescue profile, she keeps getting overlooked and we do not know why.
πYes, Morti has had surgery on her patellas (knees), she does have ongoing pentosan injection every 3 months. No other specific medical needs, she is healthy, happy and super active.
πMorti likes going on harnessed walks in the backyard, sleeping under blankets, heap boops and kisses on her head. She chirps, trills and chatters away. Morti loves dry food, other cats, dogs are ok, and she would love to access an outdoor run. She is a country girl and would take time to settle into a city home.
β₯We love Morti, we love her story, we love her tough cookie attitude, and we love that she was saved. She greets people, enjoys wand toy play and puzzle feeders. Morti is perfect, she is a wonderful cat who needs to find her own family to share the rest of life with. We can offer foster to adopt - no strings attached, you take her on, we pay for her items and care and if all goes well, she can be adopted by you.
Medical notes
Morti has recovered from operations to correct her bilateral luxating patella issues. Her two knees needed operating on, so that she could jump and climb wthout pain. She now has full access to our home, outdoor runs and can climb.
Yeah! Morti does require ongoing preventative care: a pentosan injection every 3 months (this may change to 3 months as she ages) and we highly recommend the use of 4Cyte Epitalis Forte to be given daily. Our vets are happy to share Morti's medical records with your vets (before and after her adoption).
Morti can take all her medication well, she is happy to have medication mixed in with her favourite treats Churu.
Adoption details
Our adoption process requires all potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (google form or phone call) for the kitten or kittens they are interested in. Once applications are received, we contact all potential adopters to arrange a meet and greet with Morti. Depending on the circumstance adoptions may happen after the meet and greet.
