About Lola
Do you ever think to yourself, “hmm self I need some laughs and a little bit of chaos in my life?”
Hi I’m Lola, I am a gorgeous 4 month and 2 week old Spoodle (The spoodle is a cross between a cocker spaniel and a Poodle toy)
I currently weigh 3kgs
I solemnly swear I will love you so much every day that you just won’t know what to do with all the love.
Hey did I mention I would love you if you become my family.
My foster mum says I’m the happiest cuddly girl who just wants to be with you on the couch or next to you on the bed, or even going for drives with you, or a walk – oh I love a walk.
My foster family do work but I normally have at least one or two dogs to keep me company (or for me to demand they keep me company – did I tell you I love to love!), but I would never say no to having someone home more often – just think of the love I can give them!
I am very dog friendly as in I have no concept that another dog might not love me – I have been known to run up to another dog and say hi and tell them that I love them within 3 seconds of meeting them - I am very friendly.
I love belly scratches and would happily have them given to me for hours a day.
I am dog friendly and love to play (I'm good with all fur sizes), I am also good with cats – I love to play with the cat we have here at my foster home.
I am child friendly (it just means little people to love)
I am toilet trained
I love water – I love to play in with, sit in the water, jump in the water, water water water!
I can go from 100klms a second to 0 and crash ready for sleeping in my crate – normally a good swim!
I am very much an inside dog with access to outside – probably a house that tiles would suit me better as I have been known to come inside dripping wet.
My foster mum also says I'm awesome to have around with kids - whatever they leave lying around I will pick up and either take outside to my water bowl or I will take it to them and show them and make them earn it back.
I have a coat that does require grooming. I have already had a professional groom which didn’t faze me at all. The groomer did tell my foster mum that I need to continue going to a groomer so that my coat stays looking good & not matted so please keep this in mind when applying as it’s an ongoing expense.
I did come into care from a breeder because I needed some baby canine teeth fixed – the rescue did this.

All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
Please note - We don't take calls on adoption enquiries - an application must be completed

Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
