Woody

Meet Woody! This 5-year-old Shar Pei X Mastiff is an all round great dog who has spent too long at the shelter. 1 year is a very long time but the shelter staff know what an awesome and loyal companion he is.

Woody is a gentle giant who loves people, pats, and affection. He is social with both large and small dogs, very obedient (he can sit, drop, and shake paws!), and walks well on a lead. When Woody first arrived at the shelter he was extremely fearful of being transported, but after 6 months of dedicated work from the staff he finally overcame this fear and got himself adopted - unfortunately it wasn't meant to be and he was sadly returned.

Woody is toilet trained and would make a great indoor dog - his ideal home would be with another dog and an owner who can spend lots of time with him or take him along on their daily activities. Don't let his separation anxiety scare you off - he just needs someone willing to give him the love and attention he deserves!
