About Purrcival
Purrcival was rescued from a drain pipe under the Calder Freeway with his 4 siblings at only 2 weeks of age. We suspect their mum was dumped out there either heavily pregnant or with newborns. Luckily mumma cat was spotted in the grassland and followed to the drain by an observant motorist where the kittens were discovered. It took 3 rescue groups to get the kittens out, including the local wildlife rescue! It was due to rain the next day and the kittens would have likely perished if it wasn’t for these kind people who found a way to get them out despite being many metres inside the pipe. Mumma cat was trapped only half an hour later and the little family has been safe, warm, fed and loved ever since in foster care.
Purrcival is now a sweet and outgoing boy with a gorgeous fluffy coat that is fit for a Maine Coon (albeit we do not know what breed mix he may be because we have not done genetic testing).
He loves to talk and play, and he's always up for an adventure. His bright personality is sure to bring joy to any home he joins! Purrcival loves chasing balls around the house or getting into a good wrestle with his siblings. He has plenty of energy and loves interacting with people, so he'd be great in any home that can give him lots of love! Perhaps you can be this kitten’s next lucky break by adoption him.
