Hi, I’m Tallulah!
You may remember me from the last time I was here. I was a bit younger then and my carers have learned more about me since I lived in a home for a little while. Unfortunately I was too boisterous for my owners, so I’m looking for a home where my new family are active and play with me a lot, and let me come inside sometimes. I wasn’t allowed inside before.
My new family should be experienced in dog ownership, and be willing to have personal or group training classes with a professional dog trainer so I can learn how to be calm and decompress. I really love doing zoomies and sometimes I don’t know when to stop. My carers said this is super cute and hilarious but can see that it may be a problem in a home.
I would be open to meet children who are 12 and older, as I have the body of a wombat and speed of a cheetah, but no manners so may accidentally knock smaller children over.
I have met other dogs in the facility, and I used to be okay with dogs but since I haven’t had much training or socialisation I can be reactive with them now. I’d like to be the only dog at home until I’ve done some more positive exposure, and then my new owners can re-assess my sociability with other dogs.
I am very affectionate and love being patted all over. Any attention for me is great! I also love toys, so a fair arrangement of them in a home will make me super happy. I am a pretty active girl so I would be perfect for bush walks, hikes or long walks around the neighbourhood.

Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
