Meet Mikey! He is a sweet and handsome fella who absolutely loves playing with toys, but can come across as a bit timid. Since Mikey becomes unsure and flinches away with sudden movements and loud noises, he is looking for an experienced owner to go slow with him and build his confidence. Mikey is a gentle boy who may benefit from a confident and calm canine companion to show him the ropes. Mikey will need lots of time and patience to come out of his shell fully. His new adopters will want to be familiar with dog behaviour and body language to take things at Mikey's pace to build up his exposure to the big wide world slowly. It is unclear if Mikey is housetrained or has any foundational skills, so his new adopter/s may like to engage a professional trainer to assist with settling in and building skills.
