Part Kangaroo or part canine? We aren’t sure. But things we know for certain are Samara is a gentle, loving and very intelligent girl. She loves to be around people and loves a cuddle. She has her foster family firmly wrapped around her paw (check out the video above!).

Like any young dog she gets excited upon first seeing you but settles quickly. She would be best suited for an active family with upper primary aged children and above.

Samara is dog friendly and loves a good high energy romp around the yard with her doggy pals. She is unsure when meeting new dogs so requires slow, calm introductions but she is very quickly at ease once she knows the dog means no harm.

She is the perfect dog at home but does need some guidance from her owner when she sees dogs out and about on the lead. She is currently in training for this with her foster family and is making really positive progress, an owner dedicated to continuing this and other group style training would be ideal so she can be her best self outside like she is inside the home.

Samara will make a wonderful and loyal part of the family and anyone would be lucky to have her.

Medical note: Samara has a hormone imbalance which results in sporadic incontinence, usually only when sleeping. She is currently taking one tablet twice a week (Mon/Thurs) which resolves the issue completely however she will need to continue with this medication for life.
