Queso is a high energy, playful and cuddly boy. He is your typical kelpie, needing someone who will give him lots of chances to use his brain as well as exercise and get his energy out. He would love to be with an active family who spend a lot of time outdoors and have the time to give him the attention he needs and deserves. He has a beautiful soul and just wants to be loved. His favourite thing to do is get pats, more pats and all the pats!! He is very friendly and although he is on the smaller side at the moment, he still has some growing to do. Despite his friendliness - he is still very young and needs a firm hand to help guide him to be the best boy he can be. Due to his kelpie nature he can be quite nippy and probably isn’t suited to young children as a result of this, but older, dog savvy ones are a big yes!

Queso needs a home where he will feel loved, but also will teach him right and wrong. He can be left alone in the house so long as he is confined to an area that has no valuables and he also has access to outside. His current foster carer works and studies, so he is used to lots of time to himself to explore the garden.

Dog friends would be great, but not a must. Older ones to show him the ropes and help teach him the way to ‘dog’ would be a big plus.
