About Mahana
Mahana loves to play with her foster mum's kids, tug of war is her favourite game. She is a very active doggy so daily walks would be required. She can sit and shake on command, chilling on couch is one of the things she likes to do. Mahana would also like her family to be home more often than not, as she can become quite stressed when left alone. For this reason, her new home will need to have secure fencing so that she feels safe and comfortable.
She has great leash manners and gets off the road with oncoming traffic and stops at all intersections. She doesn't pull with the kids are walking her (with adults there as well, of course).
She was amazing with dogs around. Once she got funny with one dog barking at her (but her tail kept wagging) until he actually came and said hello and Mahana ignored him after that.
She is quite protective of her foster mum's kids and doesn't like other dogs coming near them when she is walking with them. She stopped to bark and had her hackles up but didn't charge or even step towards them. When the kids aren't around she doesn't care about other dogs aside from wanting to play with them.
She is not cat-friendly.
