About Goji
Goji gets plenty of attention from passers by who could be forgiven there is a Tasmanian Tiger in Hawthorn ! This striking red brindle boy is very handsome. Goji’s house is his castle, he loves cuddling up with his humans and could think of nothing better than accompanying you on your daily activities. He would be very happy to be your co-worker if you work from home. He may photobomb the occasional Zoom meeting though. If its movie night he will happily snuggle on the couch to share your popcorn.
Goji is happy to share his foster home with another greyhound Nero, who he looks to like a big sister, giving him reassurance. Goji would enjoy a forever home with another suitable dog or be an only dog if his humans are home more often than not.
Goji enjoys his walks, usually 30 minutes in the morning and a shorter walk in the afternoon. He is good on lovely on lead and prefers quieter areas such as parks or streets without too much busy traffic. On the weekend he loves a longer adventure walk through a big park or bushland. Goji also enjoys the car and very content to wait on his seat while you do the shopping.
Goji loves his toys, the squeakier the better. He gets great delight from interactive, puzzle toys and balls. He has also mastered the stairs at home.
Goji is the sweetest boy, looking for a loving home where he can chill with you but still get out and about to enjoy all these new experiences of his rescued life.
No cats or small dogs
No full time workers unless some working from home or there is another dog

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option

Following your initial application, we conduct a home check. Our dogs are placed on a two week trial. The adoption fee is paid at time of placement and reimbursed if the trial is unsuccessful.
After the trial period is deemed successful, the adoption process is finalised.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
