About Raisin
Our Raisin is a sweet treat. This little brindle girl is friendly, lively and loves all she meets.
Raisin loves her walks and is full of enthusiasm, anticipating all the sniffs and nooks and crannies to investigate. Most importantly, all the humans to meet with the numerous pats and cuddles she can get on her journeys. Raisin walks well on lead but can get excited at meeting her newest best friends both human and canine. Raisin is an only dog in her foster home but has had enjoyable play-dates with other dogs so would be suitable for a home with another dog too.
In the home, Raisin is usually happy to just keep an eye on you as you go about your human business. She is generally pretty chilled but is learning the joy of toys and playtime with her humans. Raisin sleeps on her own bed downstairs while her humans sleep upstairs. She is happy with this routine even though she is a master of stairs herself. She will bounce on the spot when her first human comes down stairs to greet her in the morning. Raisin is also a natural at toilet training.
Raisin loves her rescued life with her foster family. Its all about great company, cuddles on the couch and sharing all the love and adventure of a family.
No cats or small dogs
No full time workers unless some working from home or there is another dog

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option

Following your initial application, we conduct a home check. Our dogs are placed on a two week trial. The adoption fee is paid at time of placement and reimbursed if the trial is unsuccessful.
After the trial period is deemed successful, the adoption process is finalised.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
