About Hudson
Handsome Hudson is a stunning 7 month oldBull Arab x Lovable pup.
Found as a stary and in the pound Hudson was begging for his young life to be saved
AK9 came to the rescue and we have fallen in love with this gentle giant. Huddy, as he is affectionately called, has a super soft silky coat, soulful puppy dog eyes and a happy demeanor.
Huddy is desperate to find a home to call his own.
Hudson has so much love to give and will show this through cuddles and just wanting to be with you.
He may forget his size and will try and sit on your lap, as the closer he is to you the happier he is.

Favorite things -
People and doggy friends
Hudson loves to be scratch behind the ears, playing with other dogs and exploring new smells
Doing all things puppies like to do
practicing his manners with treats
Interaction with humans –
Hudson has not met a visitor that he was not excited to meet and show off his charms. Huddy can be a little jumpy just like any pup and we are working on his sit for pats, which he is starting to master.
Obedience / Training-
Hudson is still a puppy and his learning his manners, but he is a quick learner and does want to
Please people so tries so hard. When there is a lot of stimulation around he may need a extra
reminder.
Hudson is very food oriented so having treats does help him learn.
So far with his foster family he has been learning basic commands: sit, stay, on your bed and wait to come inside when invited, this is still a progress, but Hudson is showing improvement every day. We are looking for a committed family to continue working with him on his obedience and training.
Animal Social Skills -
Hudson loves being with his foster sister who is a 8 year old Labrador but he can nudge his foster sister out the way when he wants a pat lol.
With a reminder and being told on your bed he will listen, but he would be suited to a dogie sibling who is patient with him.. We would love to see Hudson rehomed with a large female well socialized dog.
Food-
Hudson is eating premium puppy food two times a day.He is treat orientated so should be easy to train. Hudson is given cow hooves and kong filled toys to keep him stimulated
Independence -
Hudson is left outside throughout the day while his foster family are at work, but he does need
stimulation toys such as his Kong otherwise he does get bored and can get up to mischief with a bit of gardening and chewing his bed, not uncommon puppy behavior. his new family. He sleeps in his crate with no issues so is independant to settle
Once people are home he wants to be inside with people.
Bathing and Hygiene -
Hudson has only had two accidents in the house, but he was very excited both times so just forgot, otherwise he will let you know that he needs the bathroom by sniffing around the house. He is mostly toilet trained. Hudson has a short, easy to care for coat. He enjoyed his bath when he first arrived, he was a bit smelly
Sleeping -
Hudson sleeps in his crate at night and will happily go into his crate. Hudson is sleeping from
approx. 9:30pm to 6:00am in his crate and has not had an accident in his crate. He sleeps outside with a cozy blanket over his crate for extra warmth
Exercise -
Hudson likes to go for a walk and does not pull on his harness unless he sees another dog, Hudson is very treat oriented and can be easily distracted from other dogs with some kibble.
Hudson will need daily walks and socialization, important to keep him stimulated
Inside the home -
Hudson does not jump on the furniture and is happy just to relax with his foster family. He sits quietly on his mat, enjoys nights watching the footy with his fur sister near the heater
Ideal Home-
Hudson would benefit from a house with a good yard for him to play, no apartments or small yards will be considered
Someone with large dog experience, committed to continue his training
A FEMALE well socialized Female
Dog savvy children over 8
A family able to provide plenty of stimulation and exercise
