Introducing the beautiful Nessa. She is a young pup who is just starting to learn her way around this world. Kind, caring, lovable and sweet come to mind. Nessa enjoys nothing more than being snuggled on the couch providing endless kisses and cuddles. She is a real face licker with an endearing attitude. She just loves being loved. She has settled quickly into her foster home and has been a joy to care for.

Nessa is still a little timid but we believe this is mainly down to living in a very busy high traffic area but each day she improves and sticking to our same walking route has dramatically helped and we have started venturing past this and she has taken it in her stride. Nessa generally walks amazingly on the lead for her age and constantly checks in with you. She has been great with all the other dogs that she has come across. She gets a bit excited when she sees other dogs and just wants to go straight over but is easily distracted and we can continue on with our walk. Further training and we believe she will be unbothered by most things.

With very little effort Nessa is fully housetrained and will let you know if she needs to go. She is comfortable being left alone but dreams of a forever home where her people are home most of the time. She has taken extremely well to apartment living but ideally, she would love a backyard. She wasn’t sure about road trips at first but once she realised that a trip in the car brings her to the beach, she was quick to jump in and ready for the adventure.

Nessa is AMAZING with new people and will be sitting on your lap within seconds. Nessa reacts well to training and already knows how to sit and give the paw. She loves a good munch on her teddys and will happily entertain herself with them. Attention is Nessa’s love language and she is at her happiest when she is being cuddled. She will give you a nudge with her paw asking why you’ve stopped rubbing her.

She definitely understands the word no and is extremely eager to please you.

Nessa hasn’t been tested with cats but we believe she has the temperament and is young enough to learn the do’s and don’ts of co-living with one.

Nessa will be sorely missed by her foster family, a true gem. She is wonderful and will be a brilliant companion to her new family and will provide endless amounts of love.

The name Nessa originates from Irish mythology meaning powerful, beautiful, and ambitious.
